Airplanes

What would Ben Franklin think of all that has gone on with planes...I am not sure of his thoughts on public transport.

5-day Coffee Maker

If I were Ben Franklin I would have already invented and patented a five day coffee maker.  You would set it up once every five days/ five filters/ five cups of coffee and then set it for what days and times you want it to make it...it is the 21st century.

Free Internet

If I were Ben Franklin I would find someway to get everyone free Internet and 3G.  All people including the poor need access to information.  The whole world seems to work through the Internet.  It is hard to function without it.  It is just not OK for only the privileged to have access to it on a daily bases.

Tornados

If I were Ben Franklin... I would do something about all these homes in tornado zones.  I would make it mandated that any company that wants to build homes has to make tornado bunkers every block or two...kind of like a fire hydrant.
If...I would create a company devoted to installing free bunkers in backyards (like pool-guys)...It would be a non-profit and much of the funding would come from the upper-class.

I am not sure why we see so many places torn apart in the news.  Just like we try to earthquake proof we should at least try to tornado proof homes...build pyramid shaped homes maybe in the worst tornado hit parts.  I am not sure why mobile-home parks are allowed...each should have access to a mandated in-ground bunker under their home. How stupid are we?  Please explain to my why we don't maybe there is a good reason that I don't know (getting trapped?).
